Cover Reveal For The Glamourist
It’s here! I can finally share this gorgeous cover for The Glamourist, book two in The Vine Witch series! I don’t have the official summary available to post yet, but I can tell you book two still follows Elena’s journey of being a vine witch. It also delves into Yvette’s backstory a little more and takes place in Paris, or at least my fantasy version of Paris. There are seances, cabarets, curio shops, and lots and lots of magic, including stolen wishes, and I can’t wait for you to read it. The cover is very Yvette, with the collection of items against that stunning Moulin Rouge backdrop.
Thanks, as always, to Micaela Alcaino for the wonderful cover design!
Washington Post Fiction Bestseller List!
Thrilled to share that The Vine Witch hit #14 on The Washington Post Fiction Bestseller list. Again, thank you to everyone reading and reviewing The Vine Witch. The response has been beyond any expectations I might have had.
Amazon Charts Most Sold List!
Delighted to share that The Vine Witch made the Amazon Charts Most Sold List for the first time this week, coming in at #15. Amazing.
Thank you to everyone reading and recommending The Vine Witch!
And, in some sneaky news, I can also share I have seen a peek at the cover for The Glamourist and it is gorgeous. GORGEOUS.
Cheers!
New York Comic Con
I’m off to New York Comic Con this week. I’ll be participating in a panel called Mirror Mirror, On the Wall. Moderated by my editor at 47North, Adrienne Procaccini, the line-up will include authors Robin Hobb, Rebecca Roanhorse, Emily R. King, F.C. Yee, Mackenzie Lee, and me. We’ll be talking about myths and fairy tales in modern storytelling. One of the coolest things I’ve heard from people regarding The Vine Witch is how it reads like a fairy tale for grown-ups. Love that.
If you’re going to be at NYCC this year, we hope you’ll join us for the panel on Sunday. The talk will be followed by a book sale/signing session.
My first comic con!
