I’m terribly sorry if anyone has tried to contact me recently and hasn’t received a response. It seems the contact form on this site is no longer working, or at least it hasn’t been forwarding the emails to me. Apologies for any communications I may have missed over the past month (or more).

*Should be fixed now, so form is back up. Thanks!

The Complete set

Look at that! All three books together at last, or at least an advance reader copy of The Conjurer to go with the paperbacks of the other two. What a joy to see the complete set at last. I’m fully aware the book cover gods favored me for this series. Each one is a beauty! And, of course, if you want your own complete set of paperbacks, they are available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Target too, though you’ll still have to wait until January 12, 2021 for The Conjurer. Only a few months away!

New Books!

The Raven Sisters

A new novel coming next year.

I’m very pleased to announce I will be publishing two new novels with 47North/Amazon next year. This is a new series, but, like The Vine Witch trilogy, it’s also about magic and witches and mayhem, though I suspect these stories might be a tad more gothic in tone. The first is tentatively titled THE RAVEN SISTERS (inspired in part by the photo above), and it will be set in early Edwardian London. A brief synopsis is below.

I’m quite eager to get it written. Cheers and take care.

The Back of the Book: The Conjurer

Friendship is powerful magic.

Friendship is powerful magic.

BOOK THREE is the final addition in The Vine Witch series. It has been an absolute blast to write these three stories of women coming into their own power. Here is a summary of The Conjurer, out January 2021:

Sidra didn’t murder her husband. Yet even a jinni can’t wish away a wrongful imprisonment. Determined to prove her innocence, she returns to her adopted home—a French village renowned for its perfume witches—with her friends Elena and Yvette by her side. Here is where Sidra’s true destiny awaits, but danger also lurks in the village’s narrow lanes.

On her trail is Jamra, another jinni, who’s after more than revenge for the murder of his brother. He also seeks vengeance for the indignities inflicted on jinn by mortals over the centuries. When he learns of an ancient relic capable of unleashing chaos on the world, and that the weapon is in the hands of his murderous sister-in-law, he vows to destroy Sidra to get it.

Relying on a sisterhood of magic, a mysteriously faithful dog, and a second-rate sorcerer, Sidra defends herself using the village’s greatest asset: its perfume. It’s as beguiling a lure as it is a formidable shield. But is it enough for Sidra to protect herself and those she loves from powers yet to be released?
