New Novels Coming!

I don’t think I mentioned it here yet, but I’ve got two new novels in the works. The first, tentatively titled THE GOLDEN AGE OF MAGIC, which I’m working on now, is due for release in 2025 from 47North. Its follow-up will probably be out the following year. The first book takes place in Hollywood, 1926. I’ve been having a lot of fun researching for this one by going through vintage photos of silent movie stars and the fabulous costumes they wore. I mean, how do you top this old-school glamour?

We Have a Title

We have an official title for the new series I’m working on: THE ORDER OF THE SEVEN STARS. The first book in the duology will be called THE WITCH’S LENS.

This story is set during WW1 on the Eastern front and features a young witch whose husband has gone off to fight for the Empire against the tzar’s army, but when she and her camera are recruited to fight the supernatural forces that have permeated the scene of battle, her life will never be the same.

The first book is already written. I’m just working on edits now and pondering book two, which I’ll begin writing in January.

Keen readers will remember the Order of the Seven Stars from The Conjurer, book three in The Vine Witch series. Now, during wartime, the Order’s influence and knowledge has never been needed more!
